Gender Affirming Letters

At And Still We Rise, our trained clinicians provide gender affirming assessments and letters in support of individuals seeking medical interventions to address Gender Dysphoria. We adhere to the informed consent model and World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH) standards of care during this process. We seek not to be gatekeepers on behalf of physicians but to provide a dignified and affirming experience for all who are seeking gender-affirming care. Individuals who seek this service at ASWR can expect to receive time-limited, individualized, and compassionate support grounded in safety and a commitment to accessibility.

We provide brief ADHD assessments to adults whose personal, educational, and professional lives have been impacted by ADHD or similar symptoms. The ADHD assessment experience at ASWR starts with a comprehensive interview to determine the factors and symptoms which are affecting major areas in an individual's life. We also use standardized and validated measures to determine the extent to which an individual’s present life (and childhood) were affected by these symptoms. The assessment process concludes with a feedback session in which the clinician shares their findings and provides a diagnosis, makes recommendations that are individually tailored, and assists in planning a course of action.
