Clinical Manager, Masters Program Manager, & Psychotherapist at And Still We Rise, LLC, Brittany Anderson is an independently Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts and Washington. She completed a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Stonehill College and a dual Master's degree program in Social Work and Theological Studies at Boston University. Brittany completed training in psychodynamic psychotherapy through the Danielsen Institute. 

Brittany has a passion for authentic connections and utilizing that which gives us meaning in life to empower and inform the healing process. She is interested in intersections between trauma and theological/religious understandings of the world, as well as disability rights, LGBTQIA+ rights, and advocating for equitable access to mental healthcare. Brittany has experience working in community-based mental health, with individuals experiencing a range of psychiatric, medical, substance use, housing and/or employment concerns. She has experience working with individuals with differing abilities and LGBTQIA+ individuals in a variety of settings.

Brittany is a white queer woman who is dedicated to developing safe spaces in therapy, in which individuals feel supported in the work and coping with the myriad of factors impacting their wellness. She provides client-centered trauma-informed care, pulling from a variety of modalities, based on the needs of the individual seeking care. She believes in fostering a collaborative therapeutic alliance and utilizes theories including psychodynamic, interpersonal and relational, humanistic, parts work, cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, and others. Brittany is also an EMDR-trained psychotherapist.

When not working, Brittany enjoys crafts of most any kind, including knitting and crochet. She writes poetry and enjoys listening to audiobooks on long car rides. Brittany has a dog named Joy.
