Raimi Marx is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Psychotherapist at And Still We Rise. 

Raimi’s therapeutic practice is rooted in social justice, and they are committed to working towards a better world for all, while helping folks navigate the world as it is now. They have experienced first-hand the healing power of affirming spaces for people to engage in identity exploration and show up as their whole, authentic selves. They are particularly passionate about working with LGBTQIA+, disabled/chronically ill, neurodiverse, and polyamorous clients.

Raimi strives to create a client-centered and trauma-informed healing space, and they draw from a range of therapeutic interventions, including DBT, solution-focused therapy, expressive therapy, and relational approaches. Raimi is committed to working from a place of cultural humility and accountability, utilizing harm reduction, Health At Every Size, and sex-positivity.

Raimi brings a wealth of experience from their professional background in facilitation, LGBTQIA+ and DEI consulting, community education, and peer advocacy. In addition to their Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling from Cambridge College, they hold a Master of Arts in Education and Society from McGill University, for which their research focused on building more inclusive and affirming educational spaces for trans youth and families. They continue this work as co-host of Gender Playground, a podcast highlighting the joys of gender-affirming care for kids.

In their free time, Raimi likes to read, craft, play board games, and try to befriend every animal they meet.
